Approximately 90% of landfills in the U.S. have the potential to convert their captured landfill gas (LFG) into RNG. We focus on partnering with public and private landfill owners to reduce methane emissions and harness the potential of landfill waste to produce RNG.

We have a differentiated strategy for success to support growth through greenfield development and acquisitions across North America and to create value for Mobius Fuels and our landfill partners.

Low-Cost Development

We utilize established technologies and off-the-shelf designs to reduce capital costs and completion time while ensuring methane recovery. We prefer to operate and maintain landfill gas collection systems to manage gas quality enabling simplification of the required RNG plant equipment.

Operational Excellence

We prioritize strong safety and compliance. We maximize landfill gas volume, methane recoveries and plant uptime through real-time monitoring of the well field and RNG plant and provide additional investment in well field maintenance and expansion.

Maximizing RNG Value

We maintain direct end-user relationships in mandate and voluntary markets to improve visibility and the netback for Mobius and our landfill partners through increased share of the RNG margin. We actively look to expand into new markets in North America and through the decarbonization of the LNG supply-chain.

CO2 Capture & Utilization

We will target opportunities for capture of CO₂ from our facilities to utilize in recycled fuels, commercial applications or sequestration. This will provide continued environmental benefit for local communities and our landfill partners and increase growth opportunities across the RNG industry.
